Farm Loan Calculator
Estimate payments on a farm, ranch or agricultural land loan. Farm Credit lenders and ag banks structure these differently from a standard mortgage, often with seasonal or annual payment options.
For reference, the U.S. Prime Rate is 7.00% per annum in the Federal Reserve H.15 release as of 2026-10-13, which describes Prime as one of several base rates used by banks to price short-term business loans. Enter the actual rate your lender offered. Prime is context only, not your rate, and is never used in the calculation.

How this estimate is built
The model
Figures assume a fixed rate and equal monthly payments; sales tax and trade-in are optional and adjust the financed amount. Some farm loans use balloon, seasonal or simple-interest structures this tool doesn’t model. The interest rate is the one you enter from your lender, not a figure we set. Confirm any offer with the lender.
Not a lender
Asset Loan Calculator is independent and is not a lender, broker, or affiliate of any lender. Nothing here is a loan offer or financial advice. For real quotes, compare lenders and local credit unions directly.
Buying it through a business
A business buying a farm is usually choosing a financing STRUCTURE rather than a rate. A finance agreement, a one dollar buyout lease and a fair market value lease each end somewhere different, and the monthly payment will not tell you which costs least to own. The equipment loan calculator prices all three side by side from quotes you enter.
